Niklas Menten!
I’m a trained media designer and state-certified design assistant, and I love creating logos and illustrations. I’m also specialized in web and advertisement design, as well as front-end development.
Who I am &
where I come from
My name is Niklas Menten, I’m 27 years old and I live in the heart of Cologne. At the tender age of 14, I dared to use Adobe Photoshop for the first time and started designing my YouTube thumbnails myself. From then on, the ball started rolling and I continued to navigate my way through the graphics jungle. From 3D design, logos and illustrations to web- and advertisement design. Through my training as a state-certified design assistant and the follow-up training as a digital and print media designer, I was able to deepen and expand these skills.

Mascot Logos
I have always had a great passion for video games and esports. This fascinating world has always inspired and motivated me to get creative. As many esports teams are represented by mascot logos, I was increasingly confronted with this type of brand identity and started designing my own mascot logos. Eight years later, I can look back on a considerable number of logos and many satisfied customers. You can see an excerpt of my work below.
Illustrations
I have always had a preference for clear shapes and colors. That’s why I have used illustrations to give my friends and family a new look and reinterpreted their photos and ideas in a creative way (…this has always made a good birthday or Christmas present).
Webdesign
I first came into contact with web design and Content-Management-Systems such as WordPress during my training as a digital and print media designer. Since then, the creation of responsive websites has held a very special place in my designer heart. I am also very familiar with HTML5 and CSS3 as well as the necessary JavaScript to create an individual result.
